Credit: Living Streams Church, Bangkok  Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this , and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that folled, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so greath faith, no, not in Israel! Matthew 15:28 Then Jsuss answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was mad whole from the very hour. There are only two persons in the gospels that Jesus gave the highest compliment of possessing great faith that He could not find in Israel and this is truly astounding. From the heritage of the father Abraham, we would expect at least one to qualify to have great faith but Jesus found none. Instead, He encountered people of great faith from the most unexpected places and backgrounds. What do these people have in common that sparked faith in them which caused them to receive the miracle they so need? First of akk, they were asking not for themselves but their servant and daughter. Both have love - enough to cause them to further humble themselves to cross cultural and social status barriers to enounter Jesus. Secondly, they were not Jews - perhaps not burdened by the religios baggage that so often somthered faith. But there is more! Both had a revelation of Jesus that propelled them to a face to face encounter with Jesus that resulted in their great faith being rewarded with receiving their miracles. What was this revelation and how cn you have it too? Credit: Living Streams Church, Bangkok  Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, have we not prophesised in th y name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? The first shocking Truth that Jesus impacted the religious people of his day was that God is His Father! To the Jews, this concept of God was both foriegn and ridiculous. But for Jesus, it was so fundamental as it will define how we worship, walk with Him, pray and minister. Ministry is not us trying to help God! Ministry is an outflow of oue initimate relationship with our Father which Jesus exemplified so beautifully. Whenwe possess both a conceptual and experiential understanding of God as our Father, we will begin to do what Jesus said we should - Ask Him! He compares what a imperfect earthly father will do for his children when they ask to the perfect Father in Heaven. How much more will the perfect, loving heavenly father gives to His childrenwhen they ask Him. Ask Him in everything - in life, business and ministry. He will give more than we can ask and He has been waiting to give them to you. We do not have to strive but to receive as we ask in faith for He is the perfect Father. Amen. Credit: Living Streams Church, Bangkok  Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves in heaven, when neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal 21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22: The light of the body is the eye: If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23: But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other, Ye cannot serve God and mammon. All things in life are created twice: first in the invisible and then in the physical. That is why the bibles says in Proverbs that without a vision or a fresh revelation, the people will perish. Having the right vision is imperative to our realising our glorious destiny ordained by our Father. If our spiritual eyes are focus wrongly, darkness will envelop us eventually. However, when we are focused on the glorious Kingdom of God full of light, we too will be filled with the glorious light and life. When we grow in Kingdom perspective, we will realise that what God wants us to see and do requires faith. Hebrews 11 highlighted the heroes of faith and described all of them as having faith that pleased God and "having seen" (Heb 11:13) the object  of their faith. May we arise in great faith to realise all the amazing promises of God now and in the future. Amen.   Bible Verses Verse Bible Credit  Bible at Bible gateway Commentary Credit Bible Commentary at BibleHub John 6:33     John 1:1     John 6: 63     John 6: 13     John 6: 26     John 6: 27     John 6: 32-33     John 6: 34-35      John 6: 47-48      John 6: 49-50      John 6:53-54     John 6: 55-57     John 6: 58     John 6: 63     1 Corinthians 15:44-45     1 Corinthians 15: 46-48      1 Corinthians 15: 49-50     1 Corinthians 15: 39-40     1 Corinthians 15: 41-43     John 5: 38-40       Bible at Bible gateway Bible Commentary at BibleHub
